Here is what I have been up to lately

Last week I read my aunt's blog (http://www.playingsublimely.com/) and she did a post on painting things that you love. So I painted a picture of a guitar.  I used acrylic paints on a canvas.  It has a verse on it "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD" from Psalm 100.  Kami has had fun painting too.

Also, I have started french lessons.  It is hard but I think it is fun.  The alphabet is hard because the letters make different sounds.  Learning the difference between masculine and feminine words is also confusing.  My french teacher's name is Madame Josian.  She is a good teacher and I am learning a lot. Josh, on the other hand, hates it.
Au Revoir!
Kathryn

Finished product!

Kami is using the view for her inspiration.

"I love crepes."

Here is a picture of my teacher and me.

Good for you Katie Kate, I love the picture. Kami looks so serious, too funny. That's neat about the french lessons. Poor Josh, I bet he does hate it but maybe it will get easier. I love all the posts and I love you all too. Miss you! Nana

WOW, Kathryn! I just saw this post. I took Japanese for a few years in high school. Talk about difficult...all of the words are symbols. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your painting. If you think you may want to sell it,,let me know. I have a daughter who would love to have it! Tell your mom hello from me!
