“I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion ever nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.” Exodus 23:27
If there was ever a time in my life that I was praying a specific verse over a specific situation, it was Sunday, and it was the verse you just read. You see, this past weekend I had my first European driving experience. The fact that you are reading this is proof that God is merciful and true to His word; we all survived. I have no idea how many nations I encountered on the road today, as Geneva is home to hundreds of different nationalities, but regardless- they all stayed clear of me. My husband Geof was quite patient and ignored all of my snapping as he successfully guided me through the streets of our foreign neighborhood and beyond. The children were definitely nervous about getting in the car with me behind the wheel, but they remembered our theme verse for this adventure, “be strong and courageous” (Joshua 1:6), and we all arrived home in one piece. Now, since my tom-tom is my Geof-Geof, finding my way around this city is another matter if he is not in the car with me.
Kate video taped the whole expereince just in case things got exciting. It is fairly uneventful...but that is a good thing.:) And just a warning, if you get motion sickness, skip it.

Hope all is well!

You are too funny, looks like you did great to me. Keep practicing because you all will be stranded when Geof goes out of town! I believe you will do fine, God will put one of his Guardian Angels on your shoulder (I've asked him to do that for me and everyone in the car) HA! Love you!!!
Love it! Glad your Geof-Geof is so patient with you :) Love you guys!
