My family and I have just finished reading the book Bloomability by Sharon Creech. It is about a girl named Dinnie who moves to Switzerland. She lives with her Uncle and Aunt and goes to an international school. She meets lots of friends. She also runs into a lot of drama.
Dinnie is an interesting, nice, thoughtful kind of girl. She meets Guthrie who is an exploring, optomistic, nice, out of this world kind of boy. She also meets Lila who is pessimist, drama queen, spoiled kind of person.
Dinnie learns that changing to a new place isn't going to be easy. You are going to have some hard times in life but you keep on going. She also learns that you have to have a good attitude to take advantage of exciting oppurtunities.
I liked the book because it caught my interest and it is some of what I am going through and I recommend it to all ages to read. I give it 4 out of 4 stars.
P.S. My mom loves loves loves this book.

hey Kathyrn how are you?? What have you been up too?? Things are good here... In school we have been learning about the solar system, In writing we have been learning about color poetry, In S.S we just got finished with Revolutionary War, In math we are revewing stuff, and in reading we just got finished today reading Revolutionary War On Wensday. So thats the scoop.

Hello sweet girl! Taylor makes out class sound so interesting, doesn't she? We sure miss your smiling face. Today was out class "Beach" party. All the kiddos are anxious about Friday being the last day...me too!
We got our yearbooks! We signed yours and I'll be mailing it this weekend. I know you'll be glad to get some mail!
I am getting close to having this baby girl. Her name is going to be Elle McKenna. She is being a little stubborn right now, so I am having to go to the doctor a lot. She may be here by next week. I'll be sure to send you some pictures. Audrey and Cooper are very excited, however Cooper says he's not helping since it's not a boy.
We got a new dog two weeks ago. Crazy, I know!! Just what we need with a new baby coming! She is a toy Yorkie. She is about 3 months old and weighs a whole pound and a half. I've only stepped on her once. She is tiny!! Audrey has names her Girlfriend. It sounds funny to hear Jason taking her out to go to go to the bathroom. He says, "Come on Girlfriend"! It makes me laugh.
